Show Record Romerito officially started his show career 2004! During his first schooling show with his amateur rider at Waterloo Hunt Club in Michigan, he scored 60.9% in Training Level Test 1 and was given an 8 for his gaits. This was Romerito and Gabi's very first show ever and he took excellent care of his nervous rider. Romerito is an exceptional gentleman at shows, perfectly behaved between lots of mares and gelding and always ready to make new friends for himself and the Andalusian breed! During our first recognized in-hand show, Romerito received 82.8% in his stallion class, judged by the world renowned Major General Jonathan Burton. Romerito won the Cosequin/USDFBC Qualifier Stallion Championship, qualifying him for the Region 2 Championship in Chicago. Romerito was also named Reserve Grand Champion of the entire show at Waterloo Hunt Club August 25, 2004. 2005: Again Romerito qualified for the Region 2 Championship during his first Cosequin/USDFBCin-hand show this year! He also scored 61.15 during his first Training Level Test 4 Open test this year in Waterloo, taking 5th out of 11! Romerito performed absolutely wonderful once again, the judges just love him and his extravagant gaits! Two red and one blue ribbon were his reward! 2006: After advancing really nicely - there came the baby-break ... Since 2007 our entire focus was organizing Fiesta Midwest, our region's very first internationally recognized P.R.E. Show in Wilmington, Ohio in June 2008. It was a huge success, felt like a family reunion to everyone present, with fantastic clinics, a photo shoot with Great Britain's photographer Bob Langrish, sponsored by WAHL and Stagecoach West. Having to leave Romerito at home was a big sacrifice to benefit our breed and to make the show run smoothly. 2008: Eye-opening clinic with Mr. Walter Zettl. 2009: Happily reunited and looking forward to the 2010 Show and Breeding Season! Our choice to keep Max as integral member of our family at home is rewarded by the incredible connection we share. To truly appreciate the natural athletic ability of "Max", meet his foals and review their scores in open dressage! |
