Romerito II
ROMERITO II, also known as "Max", was bred in Spain, born in Germany and imported to the US
in 1999. Romerito is revised by the Cria Caballar as a PRE and registered by the IALHA.

Gabriele was very fortunate to find Romerito as a colt of 11 months and they have been
companions ever since.

Romerito's parents were purchased by the German V.I.P. soccer player, Bernd Schuster, while
being the head coach for the soccer team in Barcelona, Spain. These horses were of great value
and quality, meeting the new type of Andalusian Spain is breeding for to compete in Dressage.
These horses were never supposed to leave Spain. Instead of extending his contract Bernd
Schuster moved back to Germany and took Romerito's parents and other exceptional PREs with
him. Romerito was their first foal born in Germany!

Romerito's unusual height of 17 hands enables him to
perform breathtaking extensions, his classical conformation
guarantees light collection. Romerito is highly intelligent,
gentle and people oriented, exactly how an Andalusian
should be. With his rare color, bone size and height,
Romerito's athleticism is the dream of Classical Dressage
enthusiasts and serious PRE Andalusian breeders.

Romerito has officially starting his show career July 24, 2004! During his first schooling show with
his amateur rider Gabriele at Waterloo Hunt Club in Michigan, he scored 60.9% in Training Level
Test 1 and was given an 8 for his gaits. Romerito is an exceptional gentleman at shows, perfectly
behaved between lots of mares and gelding and always ready to make new friends for himself
and the Andalusian breed!

September 2005: Romerito performed absolutely
wonderful once again, the judges just love him
and his extravagant gaites!
Two red and one blue ribbon were his reward!

And for the P.R.E. breeders - we are still considering
to present Romerito for qualified status - we are going
to see how that process is going to work for the
first time in the U.S. in the fall of 2007!

We are enjoying training and preparations for MSU's Stallion Expo in March at the MSU Pavillion!

As you might know, if you saw Romerito on Vet School Confidential's "Animal Planet", we rely on
Michigan State University to collect, quantify and process samples for A.I. to provide the highest
quality and best service for our customers. We also have successfully worked with Select
Breeders for International inquiries.
Romerito is the first Andalusian to export semen to Australia and he has spectacular foals not
only in Australia, but also in Canada, and possibly soon in Europe as well!

Please feel free to contact us for further information and to meet Romerito in person.
